HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR SEASON: GRAB YOUR SEASON LIKE POLITICS

In Imo State, Nigeria, a powerful lesson on seizing seasons unfolded during the governorship election.

While one candidate, Emeka Ihedioha, danced and celebrated a short-lived victory, another, Senator Hope Uzodinma, was quietly building strategy, mobilizing allies, and invoking both legal structures and spiritual strength.

He contested when others gave up. He fought when others relaxed. He grabbed his season with persistence, perception, prophetic timing, and yes, political brutality.

That’s how destiny must be taken: by storm, with both hands, like politics.

Today, as Nigeria faces political realignments, I personally believe Hope Uzodinma may yet become Vice President, and possibly President, because he understands seasons. He does not joke with timing. He grabs his moment. He does not wait for perfect conditions. He fights like destiny is war.

HOW PEOPLE LOSE SEASONS

Many people don’t miss destiny because they lack gifts or grace—they miss it because they fail to act like warriors when their prophetic moment arrives.

Here’s how:

  1. They assume grace will always wait. (But grace expires when time runs out.)
  2. They become overconfident. (Small wins blind them from the bigger war.)
  3. They delay decisions. (Opportunities are like ripe fruit—they rot when ignored.)
  4. They ignore the spiritual. (Every major season must be sealed on the altar.)
  5. They lack structure. (Even blessings need systems to sustain them.)
  6. They downplay urgency. (They pray but don’t move—or move without prayer.)
  7. They refuse to fight back. (Some seasons must be contested like legal battles.)

REAL-LIFE LESSONS

  1. A businessman hesitated on a real estate deal out of fear. Months later, those who seized it became millionaires.
  2. A woman procrastinated on her admission into a foreign university. Her chance never came again.
  3. A couple ignored a season of peace and reconciliation. Today, they live in bitterness.

GRAB IT LIKE POLITICS

Life is political. People campaign for opportunities. They lobby for access. They form alliances to rise.

So why treat your purpose casually?

Destiny must be taken like a man running for president, it’s a contest of boldness, wisdom, and divine insight.

Hope Uzodinma grabbed his season. Emeka Ihedioha lost his.

When your moment comes—don’t joke, don’t sleep, don’t second-guess. Grab it!

—1 Chronicles 12:32

"The sons of Issachar had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…”

Seasons don’t last forever. When your window opens:

🔥 Fast.

🔥 Pray.

🔥 Take bold steps.

🔥 Fight for your portion.

Don’t just dream. Grab your season with all you have.
